Who Are We

Shichida UK was started with a vision to bring the world class Brain Training Shichida Method of Japan to the UK with a view to enhance the early years learning capabilities for children and augment the overall child development through a proven research based brain training method.

Meet The Shichida UK Team

Vandana Prasad

Executive Director and Shichida Method Trainer

Vandana is a passionate educationist with more than 20 years experience in teaching young children in India and UK, she holds post graduate degree in Education and has been working for more than 10 yrs with young children in various schools in UK. Vandana’s desire to create an unique program for children’s development came to reality when she came across Shichida Method from Japan and founded Shichida UK. Professionally trained and Certified by Shichida Japan in practicing Shichida Method to boost whole brain development in young children, she is excited to bring this fantastic program to UK as she is determined to bring out the genius in every child.

Shraddha Tekurkar

Director and Shichida Method Trainer

Shraddha is a linguist with a flair for learning new languages and having completed her advanced diploma in Japanese she has always been fascinated by the Japanese culture and their process oriented approach. After completing her EYFS NVQ Level 3 certification in the UK she has been working with children in the infant and primary schools since the last 6 years. Shraddha has been fully dedicated in the overall development of her two children and keeps researching about the different ways possible to achieve this. When she discovered about the Shichida Method from Japan and its potential to succeed based on years of research and fine tuned process driven approach, she was very excited about the prospect of bringing this program to UK and the potential impact it can have on the overall development of children here. She joined forces with her friend to turn this into a reality by creating various activities for children by enhancing their critical thinking in a fun way.
